rim size vs. tire size on a 90 maxima?
i have a 90 maxima but i bought some rims that have tires to big on them, whats the smallest tire that will fit right on a 8.5 wide rim. i have 255/35/20 series, and they will turn all the way with no rubbing, i just get them rubbing on the outer finder well, and will sometimes hit the top of my finder lip over bumps. will tires that are around 225 allow the rims to tuck more or is 8.5 inches to wide.
