Battle of the 3.0s WHEEL WEIGHT

I find it frustrating that my heavy nissan 17in wheels are 'whats holding me back' but, any posts about wheel weight have few or no replies. I considered searching for other posts throughout the whole forum, however, no searching is permitted at this time. (again frustrating) There is very little documentation on wheel weight from manufacturers or retailers. I want to stay with a 17 wheel if possible to find a lightweight varity. Can anyone help?!? (or maybe all 17s weigh exactly the same and Im just a dumbass )

I'm kinda confussed about your questions. You want wheels that come on max's stock or you want aftermarket 17's. Go with something light that looks good. Check out this site also. Wheel Weights Mine happen to be 14.3 Ibs and look d@mn good, IMO.

Do what you want but remember the type of rim you have is a large part of the image of your car. If your rollin' on dubs people expect a luxurious and slow car where as a set of light @ss set of 16's or 17's makes you light and quick. Do what you like but my vote is a set of 17's under 17Ibs.
