I am seriously considering 255 30 20s instead of 245 35 20s on all four corners. THe 255s are much closer to the stock diameter than the 245. Do you think I wil have any rubbing issues because they are 1 cm wider? Not likely. Ishouldn't have any rubbing issues on top because they are shorter than the 245s.
Just wondering if anyone is running 255s up front (doesn't really matter about the rim height just interested in width). Oh yeah the wheels are 20 x 8.5 and 38 mm offset.

 

Hint: someone has run 265/40/17 on their 5th gen Maxima.

Yeah i thought you had 265s but I thought they might be on the rears only. You are running 8.5 inch wide wheels right? 38 mm offset?
Any rub on full lock?

 

No no no, that was someone else, but yes, he runs 265/40/17 all around.

I have 19" wheels, installing soon.

If it is the car I'm thinking of..... he has 17x9 +35 with 265/40/17s on all 4 corners.... was on a 4th gen and then I think he put them on his 5th gen

 

I've got 255/40/18 on 18x8.5 wheels, +40 offset. No rubbing at all.
