What makes a good tire?
Can anyone give an idiot who knows nothing about tires-- don't even know where to begin-- a crash course in what to look for or the qualifications that makes a good tire. Don't want you to do all the work, just tell me what is important!!

People would want tires that will stick to the road, give them the traction they need in dry, wet and on snow/ice. If you don't know anything about tires, www.tirerack.com is a good place to learn for beginners. They have reviews of tires, divided into several categories: UHPAS, HPAS, MPS, etc.....
