Then you're out of luck. Actually, maybe not since the 5spoke SE wheels are already heavy as ****. There are some light 18s but $1200 maybe will cover 3 wheels and you still need tires. Remember the 16's are 19.6 LBS. If you find anything lighter get it. wheelweights.net is good and WRONG FORUM.

Scour the internet for a set of these used:

18x8 SSR Intergral A2s. 18.5lbs each and have survived over a year of the most horrible massachusetts potholes you've ever encountered.

You need a forged wheel if u want something with a low-profile. SSR's, OZ's, etc...

Volk TE37 MAG, they are pretty light. 10lbs or so for a 18" wheel.

Perhaps you missed the part where he said he wanted to spend no more than $1200, and I don't think he meant per wheel

ha ha ha.

go to www.jaydm.com and check out their wheels. There are three that fit our maximas with the bolt pattern. The Rota Subzeros are pretty nice. They are not as lightweight at the Volk's, but you also don't have to take out another mortgage for them. ha ha
The 18" ones are only 19 or so lbs(your stock wheel weight), and they will run you under $600 shipped without tires. With some good tires, you ought to be looking at like $1100-$1200. That should be what you want.

I got Kosei Racing K1s (17") from Tire Rack - some time ago now.
Don't recall now weight or price but those were the 2 most important factors for me (with looks a close 3rd). At any rate they are very light and pretty inexpensive (at least compared to others you might get). I got the "Gunmetal" ones (also available in silver and white). On-line they look gray but inperson they have a slightly greenish tint. I'd have gone with silver if I'd known beforehand but other than that I've been very happy with them...

that is a good recommdation. The SSR's are great wheels! I think that is what Caesar's Chariot has, and they are helping him put down some really good times, for not being boosted.
