Uneven tire wear in rear tires causing "wha wha wha" sound?
i took my max with 118k to a friend at a nissan dealership looking to get my rear wheel bearings replaced thinking that they were the cause for the sound I was hearing. I get a bad tire hum sounding like "wha wha wha". The tread on my kelly tires om stock rims is wearing similar to mud tires. Every other tread is a different height, but they have a good amount of tread on them.. The tread is heigher on one and lower on the next in that pattern. any help is appreciated.. thanks
Your tires are chopped. Nothing you can really do except replace them. With your new set of tires make sure you properly maintain them with rotations and alignments. Also check to see what type of condition your shocks are in, they can be the cause of chopped tires many of times.
sounds like you have a tie rod or balance problem. Basically, some component in your suspension is worn out, or you wheel is severely out of balance, or both. Have them inspect the suspension and the wheel balance. Thats usually the cause of your problem.
