Anyone ever used Mastercraft Avenger LSRs?

I am looking for a set of winter tires for my 17" wheels. All-season and winter tires in 17" sizes are very expensive, so I am looking for used tires. I stumbled upon a set of Mastercraft Avenger LSRs on craigslist and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them (doesn't have to be on a maxima either). I am just looking for decent wet and snow traction -- performance is secondary. Thanks.

Well, I ended up finding a set of 235/45/17 Michelin Alpins for $175, so no opinions are needed.

Doesn't Mastercraft make marine stuff like boats or boat engines or something?

My father swears by Mastercraft tires. As far as durability, wear, etc. goes they are pretty decent tires for the money. I think he ran these snows on my mom's Chrysler 300M last winter and was pretty pleased.

Keep in mind, though, that he shops more on price than performance. These are not going to be like Pilot Alpins or Blizzaks, but they'll very likely be quite serviceable for general winter driving.
