will they be a good size with good drivablity? or should i downgrade to the 8's

That is really wide for a max. Unless you are putting down so much power that you need more traction I would go with 7.5/8 it will make a difference in steering braking and acceleration. Actually I am not even sure a 9.5 will fit under a max what is the offset on those out of curiosity?

These are the wheels he is talkign about I believe. They are made by konig which is in no way the leader in automotive wheel technology, but you still should have heard of them.

Konig makes decent wheels, but you could get lighter more durable wheels that look better in my opinion but hey I hate the damn wheels most of the people around here have so dont listen to me.
