Anyone tried Pirelli P Zero Nero?

I'm planning to get either these or Toyo proxes 4. Right now I have Pirelli P7000ss....they were pretty decent tires for me. I need some new ones now and want something with an all season rating for the couple of days of snow we get here(Don't want to put my snow tires on this season)
I've read alot of good reviews on both tires......anyone here tried the pirelli's?

Never tried them but the reviews make them out to be badass. That combined with the good price from tirerack makes them attractive as well. I too started considering the Toyos until I saw they had a 300 treadwear rating compared to 400 for the Pirellis and 420 for the Kumho ASX I've been looking at.

My last tires had a tread rating of 320...they lasted me 4 seasons and about 40 or 45000 miles and get pretty abused. The pirelli costs a bit more than the toyo but with the higher tread rating the actual cost would be roughly the same....I'm wondering if the toyo would (with it's 300 tread rating) have softer rubber and handle a little better when dry than the pirelli.

A lot of the STi and Evo guys are running the Nero M+S in the winter. I've read nothing but good things about them. The P4 is suppose to be a close match at a little cheaper price. Edgeracing.com has some really good prices on the Toyo.

I just bought the Toyo Proxes from edgeracing last week. Great deal, fast shipping, and the tires are real nice.

I almost got the p-zero nero. They were on top of my list until I found the proxes 4s.
I think with either tire you can't go wrong. I like the tread pattern on the proxes.

This thread has the pics and reviews of the tires. (page 2)

I think you'll be pretty pleased with that decision. I'm looking at those for my next set.

Which one? If it's the M+S, i have them and as said above they are AWESOME! I had Sumitomo HTR+ before this and though those were good, it showed its shortcomings as the miles added up.

The PZero Nero M+S (the one with higher tread wear and is an all-season tire) is relatively silent, has tons of grip wet and dry and a lot cheaper than OEM for sure.

I want the Pierllis so bad, but since the car is new, I'll have to wait for the oems to wear out. Like all nice tires, they're a hefty price for my size which is rare. finally found a shop that could order them for me for a great price, but like i said, don't need them yet, and i'm still broke.
so some save for mods, i save for tires since they cost around a G.
