Have you had balancing issues with your Falkens?

The Falken Ziex ZE-512 seems to be the tire of choice for people on a budget who want tires to fit their OEM 17" wheels.

I'm interested in knowing how many people have had no problems or have had balancing issues - whether it was caused by improper inflation or caused by the tire installer.

Thanks..

No problems here regarding balancing. However, I hate the numb feeling the soft sidewalls give to the car's handling.

No problems with my 245x40x18's. In fact, I'll most likely be getting a set in 17's for my stock rims for the winter, but I'll drop down to a 215x50x17.

01 Max/Falken Ziex ZE-512 pulling and bouncing!!

Hi! (01 Maxima SE, OEM 17's, manual, 55K and counting...)

I've been having problems with my steering (pulling slightly to left) and wheel bounce (at 30 and 60 mph) which I believe may be a problem with the tires. Alignment has been checked and is 'dead on' they say... and I've had the tires balanced by my dealership which actually 'helped' (not cured) the pull. About a week later the bounce at 30 and 60mph started...

To further troubleshoot this problem, I picked up the OEM 9-spoke rims (eBay for $220 delivered), and just purchased Dunlop WinterSport M3's (TireRack $450 delivered) to use during the winter. I'm dropping the car off at the dealer tonight... I'll update this thread with the findings...

In the meantime... If anyone has ANY other thoughts or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it! There's no way I'm going to put up with a bouncing/pulling car that is this young!!
