Bridgestone Turanza LS-H
I will be having these installed to replace my worn RE950s today in a couple hours.
I run the stock size 215 55 16 on my stock 16 SE 5 stars.
I searched and found decent feedback on LS-V , but not many on LS-H.
Seems there are 5th gen ppl running LS-Vs. I am a 4th gen.
I would like to hear feedback on LS-H from our forum.

I plan on having a set of summer tires, so my main goal was looking for a tire for November to April here in Ohio where we do not get constant snow fall.
My main debate was between the H and the V. From reading the reviews it appears the H has a little better snow traction. I guess it makes since that an H rated tire would perfrom better in the winter than a V, right?
My main reason for getting these is that a local car club member works for a "real" Firestone as opposed to an independent dealer. At this present time he gets about 50% off the Turanza line. :>
I was really about to get a set of Blizzak LS-22, but decided to save my money on this. I get a 30 day test drive and can get my money back and get a different tire. I neeed tires today since for xmas I am driving from Columbus to Sandusky tonight.
Tomorrow I will be driving from Sandusky to Chilicothe.
This will be the ultimate snow test as we are expecting 6 inches of snow here and even more up north. I will report back on this as well.

I have the LS-Vs and they are the best tires I have ever had -period.
Cant say about the H's but typically, the difference in speed rating is not due to anything related to the tread compound but with the tire's internal constrcution/belting so...there's not reason for me to believe the performance/traction would be any different -which is excellent. The tread pattern is the same between them so....more reason to say the H should be close to the V in grip. The tires are also soft riding and quiet.
Now, just to mess up your mind, I'll have u know I just installed the Firestone LH30's on my daughter's Neon and they are fantastic tires, moreso for the price. I would say very near the Turanzas for grip, specially in the wet and they are much cheaper. Indeed, the tread is remarkably similar to the Turanza LS H and V. Firestone and Bridgestone is the same company...methinks these tires were developed very close together....they also came out about the same time....
Sorry I'm gonna make u go
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
