Tires on 18x8 wheels
What is the biggest tire you can run on a 18x8 wheel w/out negative effects,i,m running 235/40's now but I would like a fatter tire if it'll fly!

I think you can put 245/40's .

He said that he has 235/40/18's on there right now. You should be able to run a 245/40/18 tire at the widest, although 235/40/18 is ideal for an 8" wide wheel.

i run 245/40/18 on an 18x8 wheel

i like having some thick rubber on there, protects the rim too

Ya u could run a 245 40 but its up to you. I know allot prefer the 235 40 thats what im on with my 18x8 and i love it..

be careful when you put 245 -40 it may rub when making a U-turn.

my 235/40's rub a little bit already,i need to back out turn stoppers anyways so i plan to go w/245/40's next time around!!!
