I just came across a deal for 5ziegen Typhoon rims: 17x8 & 17x9. Is it worth it?

I just came across a local add for 5zigen Typhoon rims.
Size is 17x8 in the front, 17x9 in the rear. Offset is +35 and it is for 5 bolt.
Would the 17x9 work in the rear? They're wearing Yokohama ES100s. No curb rash at all.

I noticed in an old thread that our rear tires are inset more than the fronts and its true. Having a slightly larger rim would balance out the look in the back but for tire rotation that won't be possible any longer. Is that correct?

Its damn good deal, but thats a rear wheel drive setup... Im not sure if the 17x9s would even fit, even if thy did it would throw your luanch off... Your max would be dragging around the rear end of the car... I dunno, its a good deal but I wouldnt wanna feal with all that drama.
Okay, its 215/40/17 front and 235/40/17 rear. I'm on 235/45/17s right now so it looks like this won't work for me.
Update: Nope, this won't work for me.
235/45/17 against 215/40/17 gives
Speedometer Difference: 6.525% too fast Diameter Difference: 6.13%

I think 17x9 +35 is perfect for the rear.... the front needs about +40 for a 9 ... an 8 would look good with a +35 ...... I have some track wheels 17x9 +34 they fit fine but stick out a few mm in the front with 255/40s on them
these are the wheels on my Z (currently have "R" compounds)
