tuner lugs??
what kind of lug nuts should i get for my 2000 max? i could post this in the 5th gen forum, but i figure its all the same. the first rims i got were 17x7 gunmetal 5 spoke rims, and the 21mm deepsocket ratchet i used to tore up the rim where the lugs go. so, this time around , i want to avoid that and get some lug nuts that wont scratch, but im not sure what size/length i need. can anyone point me in the right direction?

So what you're after is the Hex head lugnuts. They're slimmer and need an adaptor (kind of like a allen wrench) I bought a complete set at a local tire and rim shop.
Go down to a local shop and ask to see if they have lugnuts to fit aftermarket rims. They should be able to look up your car and get the exact size and pitch you need. Don't forget to get the adaptor as well.
Make sure to let them know it needs an adaptor, otherwise they'll get you regular lugnuts. That caused quite a bit of confusion when I was getting my set. Everyone thought I was after regular lug nuts until I said it needed a special adaptor.

Or you can get these... they're a different style than what I have. But they should work.

Those are the ones I have, just make sure they're the right size and pitch. I got a set of 20 lugs, and 2 adaptors for $15. Check with the shop first... they might have everything in stock. If they don't, at least you'll know the size and pitch of the lugs you need.
