I am also looking at Potenza G009 they go for $70 on Tirerack.com in 215/60R16 size
That would come out to $262 shipped to my door after $50 rebate

I don't thinh anything out there will beat that price !!! I need good tire for driving on Hawaii roads

Nick.

For Chicago weather I loved the Dunlop SP5000 in 225/50/16 on the stock SE rims... great tire.

For all season, I found good reviews on Bridgestone Turanza's at tirerack...

They can be considered a bit pricey at $150 each, but there are definately more expensive ones out there

I just bought Michelin Hydroedges. I read reviews for them on tirerack, but I can't find them on there anymore - they got really good reviews for both summer and winter traction. They are also supposed to be good at resisting hydroplaning and they have a really long tread life. The speed rating is a little lower (T I think) but I'm not sure how often you'll be driving that fast anyways. So far they handle pretty good. I won't be using them in winter though cause I already have snow tires.

Edit: Found the Hydroedge reviews
