nexen n3000 tires.. are they any good?
www.grippytire.com sells Nexen and Toyo tires at a low price!
I guess opinions are subjective, but from what I know, these tires are okay for daily driving duties but are not a good performance tire due to the soft sidewall that flex under load.
Hey Maxima people, hope you dont mind a Toyota owner popping in here... this is one of the only threads on Nexen I could find on Google, so I signed up to post.
Have been running Nexen N3000 on my Celica since Summer 2007 (4 YEARS) and they are excellent tires. I expect to get about 60k miles out of them, easily. Have driven in all weather/temps, Florida through North Carolina, rain, snow, ice, sleet, 90's+ temps, and have never had a single issue. On cold rubber, they will slip on a launch (FWD) here and there, but I've driven in 6" of snow with these and no problems!
Did a front to back swap at 30,000 miles, and the rears were practically in new condition. Great tire for the money, and easily compares to my experience with Yokohama, Falken, and >cough< Firestone. Would buy again.
Thanks guys, you can resume your nismo banter now.
