+43 offset/8" wheel fitment issues?

I am looking at some Rays Volk on ebay that are 8" wide with a +43 offset and I am trying to get a gauge as to whether these will look right or if they will be sucked in too much. I am getting conflicting opinions at this point and the auction ends tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rays wheels

If you like, check out my pics that I have posted on the thread titled "New Kicks". I just recently pickled up a set of GramLights 57Pro's in Gunmetal. They're 18"x8" with a +40 offset. IMO, they do sit a LITTLE bit inside. Not much, but as compared to my G35C's (which are almost flush), it's noticeable. I got some pics on my cardomain page also. Ammi had mentioned to me about using a 5mm spacer for the rear, which I'm considering doing. Keep in mind also, though, the tires on my GramLights are 225/40/18's also. I'm also considering going to a 235/40 or a 245/40 instead. I had an opportunity to pick up a set of 19" C4's with a +43 offset as well...........I decided to pass. IMO, a +40 is the most that I'd go.

Well, i guess it also depends on how much you can get them for, too! What model wheels are they?

Try and PM Ammi, he got GT-C's as well. Not sure of the offset, though.

Damn, $1225 for Volks is still not too shabby. Is that with or with out tires?

Volks

Wow, I guess I got a decent deal on mine. I got my GramLights for $1100 with the same tires with about 80-85% tread.
