just wondering if anyone has tried nankang NS-1 tires. i will be looking at 225/40/18. just wondering how traction, tread life ECT. is. obviously a cheap tire but let me know what you think. thanks

 

i had the ns2.... i think its similar..... the ns-2 was pretty good for the price..... wet traction was pretty good, so was dry grip.... iunno bout wear cuz i had alignment wear and it went out realll quick.... the side did...... thats the only input i can give.

 

I've had NS-2's, and they're okay. Traction was pretty decent, and treadwear seems ok. Although, I've only had them for about 5K miles. They're a bit noisy though. You get what you pay for. If you absolutely don't have enough $$$, buy them. But if you can wait an extra month or so, save up and get something better.

 

nankang=mediocre tires, if your not looking to track the car or anything just to get sumthin cheap go for them
