Nissan gave me new Michelins need some opinions

I have the dreaded shimmy problem on my 04 Max. So today the Nissan put on a set of Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus. They are also going to change the rack and pinion, steering wheel, wheel bearings, and rotors when the parts come in.

My question is do any of you guys have these tires and what do ya think about em? Or have you heard anything about these tires? Only drove em 2 miles so far but they seem very smooth.

This is their 3rd attempt to fix it I am pleased that they went this far for the third trip. I thought they would have waited for the 4th attempt to do all of that.

It's good that they supplied you with Michilens, the installed them on mine after many requests and I have been EXTREMELY happy with them. Mine are Pilot Sports which are more performance based but I have had the MXV4's before and they were an awesome tire.

i'm actually in the market for some new tires now and the guy over at tire kingdom recommended the michelins mxv4+ plus. in 16" size (215/55/16) they are about $145/tire. he said the tires are excellent and super smooth, he recommended them over some cheaper yokohamas.

i got a flat tire over the weekend and decided i would just replace all my tires at that time. yesterday my dad took my car in to discount tire and got the mxv4+ . i liked to reviews for the michelin hydroedge and goodyear tripletred tires but my dad would not listen to me since he was paying for them. tirerack reviews are not very good in general but the reviews from nissan owners seem good.

I've got those on my wife's '88 BMW 325. Very nice ride and quiet to boot.
