225 / 50 / 16 on stock 2000 SE wheels
After browsing this forum i have seen many debates all over the place so i thought i would start one thread to help my decision process and figure out the whole truth.
speedometer difference seems to be very minimal so im not worried.
someone said that the car will be registering more miles... is this true?
my main concern when switching from the stock 2000 se wheel to 225 / 50 / 16 is the handling and tread wear.
can anyone please comment on this.
i would really appreciate your guys help
thanks

Well, I have 225/50/16 on my stockers and I like them. You can probably expect a little better handling since the contact patch will be a little bigger, but not much. Treadwear won't be affected by the size of the tire, but rather by the tread rating of the manufacturer and tire rotation, and tire pressure, and so on and so forth.
