A good sticky tire?

What tire do you guys recommend for my car? My problem is that my 02 is a non HLSD and my traction is awful. My car is drivin rarely, so I not worried about how long they last. I was looking for a real sticky tire for a good launch, but a one that still has good traction on turns and when the streets are wet. My setup is a 18x7.5 @ about 21-26lbs a piece (yes their heavy). My best 0-60ft time is 2.38 and I get smoked buy everything off the line, it sucks

I was looking at the 245/40/18 bfgoodrich drags radials but I was worried that it would look too bad on a 7.5" wide rim and that size is the smallest one they make for a 18". What do you guys think?

My old Falken Azenis ST-115 tires were sticky and quiet. They were little soft and tread life could have been better. I'm running BFGoodrich g-Force T/A® KDW now and I'm liking it so far.

You should run 235/40/18s

I'm running 235/40/18 now and they fit great, but I want the best traction i can get, so I not worried about them sticking out of the rim slightly. I was hope it would not be real noticeable. I'm not replacing the rear tires just the front. I'm going for a show car.
Would putting a 245/40 on a 7.5" be bad for the tire or rim?

Toyo Proxes 4's. Although I haven't boosted my horsepower from stock, I've never even chirped these when pulling out on hard throttle. I know I'm auto, but they still stick like mad. Cornering with them is amazing on even wet roads.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 or Toyo Proxes T1R.

If you find a tire with a AA traction rating, they are usually pretty sticky.
