Looking to get 17s or 18s Couple Questions

I was looking at getting some 17" or 18" wheels but not 100% decided.

I was looking at the 18" G35 wheels and was wondering what size of tire I would need to not rub? I am dropped 2.5" on D2s.

But would a 17" or 18" give me better handling?

Everything else being equal 18" will give you better handling, but not everything depends on the rims. Tire sidewall makes, probably, even more difference than the profile.

I'd get 17s, IMO it's the best compromise between handling and straight line dynamics. BTW, 17s will still look good on maxima.

Don't buy tires with outer diameter larger than stock. They will most likely rub.

it depends on the width of the wheel. There are several variants of G35 wheels, which range from 7" to 8.5" widths and 17" to 19" diameters.

Read the STICKY up at the top of this tires/wheels section for more info.

Anyone give me info on what size tire to go with running g35 18x8? I am lowered roughly 2.5" and I dont want to have any rubbing issues.

depends on the offset too. What's the offset on the G35s?
