I'm looking at buying some Focal F5 165 17x7 wheels with 40mm offset and 245/45ZR-17 Toyo Proxes. Will these go together, and will they fit on my stock 97 SE? I don't plan on lowering my car.

Thanks!

what's the bolt pattern?

I wouldn't go 245s w/ 7" wide wheels

The tires are too wide for those rims.

I'll tend to agree. But I'd need to know WHICH proxies you are using. You go to Toyo's site and they should have min/max wheel widths recommended for your tire. You buying the white ones from nwmaxima?

the tires are from a local person, actually they're Toyo Proxes 4 on Mustang wheels. I would get them dismounted and remounted on Max wheels. I just have to get the wheels first....

did you try the tire calculators? they will show which tires fit which wheels, and if the combo will be close to your stock circumference.

If those are low profile (45s?), that's just plain ignorant. I am a firm believer in Natural Selection, as long as it doesn't involve innocent bystanders.

Which brand of tire. I'm not aware of any that recommends a 255 on a 7" tire?
