I'm in the market for a new set of rims, and right now I've got a black 3rd gen with the original SE wheels. The paint is in excellent shape, which is why I've thought about doing black on black. I've seen this style in people's signatures and other random places, but I haven't found any threads like this one. I'm thinking either 17s or 18s (feel free to comment on this as well) with a lower set of springs to set them off. If you have pics of black on black, I'd appriciate it if you posted them along with wheel's size and manufacturer.
