Just bought tires - opinions please
Shopped for days and decided upon Bridgstone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires. Anybody run them or have any feedback for me?
If you want to know why I chose them, mostly because I didn't have a lot of confidence in the other brands and I've been relatively pleased with the other Bridgstones I've owned. No way I was going with Eagle or BFG or even Nitto. My Max is our family car and is primarily driven by my wife, so an all season with good rain performance was appropriate.
So.....let me have it if you will!
Thanks guys
Steve

Nobody seems to carry Toyo around here. I recall looking for them at one time - I think it was last year. Probably have a source in my area now that I've ordered the Bridgestones. I still think these tires will work well. I have Dunlop snow's for the winter and they are still on the car. I hate the crap out of them and I'll never buy Dunlop again. I have no previous experience with anything from Toyo other than OEM tires on a Camry in the past. Was not impressed, but they were not the best tire in the line, I'm sure.

I'm looking at this tire bacause I got a nail near the sidewall on my G009 Bridgestones. The patch won't hold air! The Re960AS is W rated(168mph) wereas the G009 is H rated. Should give better handling with stiff sidewalls!! Presently I have 25k on my G009 and they are about half wore out!! Also these Bridgestones are the bomb in the rain!!
