Has anyone with wheel locks ever had a stripped key and decided to use another method to remove their locks instead of ordering a new key from Mc Guard. My key is stripped, but the locks are all in perfect shape and I am contemplating on whether or not to order a new key from Mc Guard and or just finding a deep socket that will fit and remove the locks. I don't plan on putting them back on the car anyways.

 

go 2 snap-on and order the socket to remove the locks its like 30 bucks....and that 1 doesnt strip like the auto zone 1's

 

how does a key strip? you line it up to the lock before u turn

 

bah.....might as wel sell the whole car.

 

the keys teeth break when u try 2 remove a lock thats on tight

 

weld a nut to the lug and use a regular socket or 4way
