What are the best wheel locks out there? Paranoia

My car was broken into last night and the fckheads stole my $550 wideband and about 150 CDs, and I'm now having visions of them coming back with the proper tools to steal my wheels. I don't have wheel locks because frankly I thought "it would never happen to me" but now I'm paranoid. I realize nothing is foolproof but what are the best style/type of wheel locks out there?

yea Mcgard whooped my butt when i had to get a wheel lock out that a customer lost the key too. it just pissed me off completely. I would suggest getting 2 sets of actual wheel locks just to stop them some more.

No need to get 2 sets... If you buy their complete kit, it comes w/2 types of lugs... yes, it's a PITA when I take my car to get serviced and gotta give them 2 keys (and then they look at me funny for thinking my rims are expensive and thinking someone might try to steal my ugly rims).

When it comes to stealing, they'll get it if they want to. Installing wheel locks will just slow them down. Install camera? Call the police?

master key? does that mean, I can goto the dealership, buy the wheel locks, and use my key on your locks?

McGuard is ****... When you get the kit, they send u these stickers/forms with the lock's serial # on them (SN are not printed on the locks). You mail 1 back to them w/your info, and keep the other as proof that the rims are yours. If you lose/break your key, you gotta verify your info w/them, and they'll cast another key for u based on your SN.

I heard McGard is one of the best in the industry...I personally have Gorillaz and they seem to work well too...got them from tire rack when I bought the SSRs

I also have nissan lug nuts on my stock 2k2 wheels...they seem to have a very simple design? doesn't even look like it protects worth crap..

Get a set of McGuards, and then also 2 sets of other no name locks from ebay. This way they will have to break through 3 sets of locks per wheel.

man if they want your wheels and find that you have 3 sets of wheel locks. They probaly just try to steal the car instead. A lot easier faster and cleaner.

These arte the older style sets... I got an old set and a new one just in case. I like the newer ones though cause they are covered from road conditionsa and the studs don't rust. See how yours have a hole? New ones are in a shape of a paper cup not a tube
