which tires do you guys recommend?

i have a 96 se dropped on s-techs with agx's. i currently have the 03 17's on.

im in bad need of some tires.

would you guys recommend the stock size 225/50/17 or should i step up to 235/45/17? i see alot more choices with the 235's.

also what tires would you guys recommend? im not going to track the car or anything. i drive about 50 miles or so a day so comfort is a big factor for me.

i live in Alabama so snow is not a factor but rain is.

i've read the stickies and there seems to be alot of mixed reviews on ALL tires.

what would you guys running the same setup as me recommend?

let me know.

thanks.

check out tirerack reviews. depending on how much you are looking to spend, decide on 3-5 tires that will meet your needs and price. then come back here with specific questions and see if anyone has had experience with them.

.
well.....the answers in this thread are likely to be just as mixed

pick one of the few top "most popular" A/S tires and shop around for what price range you're in...Toyo Proxes4, Michelin Pilot A/S are the top choices here, typically.
