Where did you get them installed at?

A shop in Markham (Markham road & 16th Avenue), called Tires 3000. They did a perfect job & charged me less than other shops were asking. If you go/call them, tell them you know Peter with the Lexus IS350.

Just an update on my Exclaim UHP's. Love em. Handle very well in wet and dry conditions. I have put 20k on them, mostly highway and they have 50% life left on the fronts and 70% on the rears. I got them cheapest at www.tiredeals4less.com

Just want to give yet another positive review on these. I don't have them on my maxima, but these were the best tires that I ever put on my Spec V... Great price, and great traction in all conditions. They weren't too scary in snow, either.

I also run these tires on my max and audi 20s and in 17s both perform extremely well, 17s got 30k miles on them and still tread life left in them.

I'm running 245/40/18 exclaims on the front and pulling 2.0 60' at the drag strip. They seem fine in rain thus far.

My friend also bought a set of 235/40/18s for his turbo cobalt and has worn around 50% of his tread on the front tires in less than 10k miles. Keep in mind that includes 3-4 track visits.

I have these in 225/55/17, oem size, and dont have any complaints. They're quiet enough, wear evenly, smooth riding, great wet or dry. Couldnt ask for more from fairly cheap tires.

My brother has them on his 5th gen, but is not happy with them. He complains about them feeling "squirrely" at highway speeds, like the soft sidewall makes the handling feel mushy. Not sure of his size. Stock I believe.

Hope this helps someone.

JB

How many miles does he have on them? They're so-so the first few hundred miles.

Also, depending on size, the tire is quite pressure sensitive. IIRC, i was running 36psi all around on mine -- feel and handling was much improved, and it still wore evenly.

I hope these live up to the hype. Ordered 4 tires through Tirerack: 245/45Z/18. I'll let you know how they do after the break in period...

these tires are perfect for stretch!

they stretch real nice and run large.

i've had no problems with mine so far at 3 months.

I've had a set of the Generals on my '04 Max. Was thoroughly dissapointed. Also have had Parrelli's, and Bridgstone Potenza's. The best tire, by far I have ever put on my car are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3. They are expensive, but stick to the road like velcro. They are just as stickey on wet as dry. If you can afford them, get them. 245/45X18 $940.00 for a set of 4 at Tirerack.com

^ you really do get what you pay for...

i got my generals cuz of cost and stretchability, not for performance.

Just bought a set and also was wondering about break in. 225/35/19's. They currently sound like my off road tires on my truck Hope the roar goes away but I only have 100 or so miles on them.
