NISSAN TIRE JACK-TIRE ROTATION????

Is it possible to rotate my tires with only using the oem tire jack provided with my 01?? I have taken my wheels off before when painting the calipers but did this one wheel at a time..I know the recommended jack location is right near each tire on the frame lip but I was wondering if I jack it up in the middle where the front/rear doors meet on the frame will this hurt the car or has anyone done this???? I have a new torque wrench and want to try it out......

I used the oem jack for that exact reason before I bought stands. I used the front jack point and managed to get the rear tire off the ground just enough (about 1/2 inch or so) to be able to slide the tire off. Incidentally, I use that method every year when it's time to put the winter tires on the Volvo, but it has a much studier jack and the lift point is a lot closer to the center of the car than on the Maxima.
