5x120 bolt pattern wheel on a 5.5 gen.

I went to look at a set of wheels that were on a Z. Pulled the 20x10 wheel off flipped it around to look at the offset and come to find out the bolt pattern was 5x120. The offset was 25. I'm not a noob when it comes to wheels so I know what I saw.

I took the wheels just to see what they look like on the car. With no issues at all the wheels bolted right up. I was able to tighten down all lugs. Unfortunately the wheels stick out too far do to width of the wheel and offset but none the less they bolted up.

Anyone now how this is possible?

Answer: Even though it fits and you are able to put the lugs on, the wheel actually sits on the studs as oppose to seating all the way down on the hub. Over time it will begin to warp the studs and eventually break.

Don't know, the kid wasn't there when I was taking a look at the wheels. His pops was doing the transaction, or lack there of, for him.
