Since you're limiting it to 17s, I think I know what your priorities are...

Enkei RPF1, NT03+M, RP03
OZ Ultraleggera
Kosei K1 TS
TRMotorsport MT1
Weds Sport SA-70, SA-90
Any BBS, Gram Lights, Volk, SSR...

There's also OEM 350Z 17s and G35 Coupe 17s that look decent on Maximas....

Combination of both, to be honest. I really do like the SSRs, but at the price. I am talking to someone on eBay whom is selling the RPF-1s at a killer price, so looks like these might be part of the new shoes.

I bought the tires already (there was a specific tire I wanted), so it is to be hoped I can FINALLY slap these puppies on!

Thanks for the recommendations, guys.

Just saw this thread, not really sure what you're looking for in a rim, but here are some suggestions:

The RP-F1 is definitely a good choice. Not sure if I've seen them on a 5th gen yet. If you don't find a good deal on those, here are some others:

Enkei NT-03's:

Rota Tarmac 3:

WedsSport SA70:

Buddy Club P1 Racing QFs:

Rota G-force: (really like this wheel)

Those are just some off the top of my head. I can look for more if requested.

Any reason you are not opting for 18's? Wheels that are pictured are often 18 or 19 inch, so that they convey the whole "aesthetic appeal" in the image. Sometimes the details that make the wheel look amazing are left out or are more subtle due to the wheel's diameter. An 18x8 would be optimal I think, or even 19x8 if you're willing to go that large. It all depends really. Looks like with keeping it 17" you're pretty concerned about weight. Might want to look at some forged wheels if the case is that you'd like 18's or 19's at the weight of 17's.
