Found some before and after pics of the wheels on my 01 GLE. Note, these wheels are from a 2005 Maxima SL. They are very similar to the 7 spoke 17" wheels found on the 5.5 gens, but these are flat on the outside of the spokes, not rounded.

Hope this helps anyone looking for a sharper OEM look which will also support the 6th gen bbk.

Never seen those on a 6th gen, look just like 5.5 GLE's to me but still look better than what you have, no offense.

 

I have 6th gen 17" wheels using 5th gen 225/50 R17 tires instead of the 6th gen 225/55 R17 tires on my 2k max. They look sharp on the car imo. Understated look if anything.
