Does 225/50/17 convert to 215/60/16 or 215/55/16?

For some reason, the search engine isn't finding anything on this.

I'm looking to install winter tires on separate rims for my 2001 Max SE and store my summer mags/tires.

So one tire center says I should go with 215/55/16.

Now the other tire center says I should go with 215/60/16 to preserve speedometer consistency.

Could someone please advise the standard configuration for us Maxima owners out there?

Many thanks
