correct tire pressure help!

Hey y'all, I need some tips and advice on wat tires pressure I should be running. I have a 06 Max on 20's. Tires are Falken 452 245/35/20. Went to do my oil change and notice they air up the tire to 45psi all around. Its now bumpy and I feel everything on the road. It wasn't like that when I had them install 2 years ago. I need expert advice on wat is the correct/safe tire pressure to daily drive my car

Wow, 45psi seems very high, especially for a 35 series tire, I like a firmer ride then stock and have my wheels at 38 psi. I would drop it to below 40 psi and see if the ride is better.

Even 38 psi seems a bit high. Over time, the tire will wear more in the middle with those higher pressures. Give 32-24 psi a try and see how it rides then.

check the sidewall for whats recommended and go a bit below that, some tires call for 80psi even (usually larger domestic vans). passenger car tires are usually 35-44psi

higher is actually better for the tires, but you can let a bit out if you want. just make sure you dont overfill them, ive worked on vehicles where its 35psi max and the owner set it at 100psi funny ish when people overfill tires and you just hear KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Yeah, I was pretty much concern about the pressure. I lowered it to 37psi and its a little better. Still feeling the road a little, but manageable. Thanx for the advice guys!

The psi rating on the sidewall isn't the recommended psi, it's the maximum allowed psi the tire is rated for.

Flame me if you want but road feel is inherent with something as short as a 35 series, and your 20"s = a LOT of unsprung weight that you will ALWAYS feel. I would NOT go under 40psi, unless you like bent and broken rims.
