Downsizing Tires for winter on 2012 Maxima SV

If this has been asked or answered before, I sincerely apologize. This summer I purchased a 2012 Maxima SV w/ Sport package. The stock tires are Goodyear RS-As 240/40R19. Last year I ran Vredestein Wintrac Extremes on my Toyota Camry, they are 225/55-R16s mounted on their own dedicated steel wheels. Can I run these on the Maxima, or will they be too small? The bolt pattern is the same so I believe I'd be good in that regard. Any help anyone could offer would be great.
