Finally!!!

I finally replaced my heater blower motor after listening to it growl for about two years. The whole job took a whooping 15 minutes!!
Also,I jacked her up and figured out why my exhaust was getting loud(again).Ordered a new muffler.
176,000 miles and still going strong!!!

You're all set-up for a 4" intake now.

Mhm, just have to piece one together and possibly pick up some z32 injectors. On a side note, think the upgrade from a 2.5" exhaust to 3" is worth it? I know it's a relative question, but the price is daunting.

Which heat shield was rattling? I have had a slight rattle at 1800-2000 rpm for over a year.

I had this also, happens when the engine was revved slightly and allowed to come to idle. Found out it was loose catalyst material in the front pre-cat, if I remember correctly it was bank 1 by the firewall.

I finally tossed on front rotors. Yikes the braking feel is so nice now.

I used a big hose clamp, that's all.

Mine was the heat shield over the exhaust pipe near the fuel tank.

Replaced a bad O2 sensor which cleared 3 SES codes, no more check engine light, yea! The bad sensor I removed wasn't even the correct sensor for the car, the routing was different and the conncetor under the engine cover was a bit funky. The new Bosh O2 sensor from Rock Auto was an exact fit with all the little zip tie clips in the correct positions.

Been looking for 01 fog lights and finally picked some up at a local junk yard from a 2000 sentra and only cost me $6 for the pair. My maxima did not have fogs and converted it to have fogs, looks much nicer with them rather than the black fog caps.

Replaced the upper intake manifold gasket (felpro), outer tie rods, stabilizer links and bushings (moog), pcv valve, drive belt, got an alignment and fresh oil change with pennzoil platinum and purolator pureone oil and air filters. Took 2 days for everything. NGK iridium plugs done like 2 months ago so my spring tuneup is now complete and the car is running great! But note that I only replaced the UIM gasket because I was chasing that cold start stalling issue that some other members of the org have had. After replacing the MAF and ruling out other possibilities, I was sure it was the gasket. Turns out the gasket was perfect and it was just the pcv valve. So I'm feeling like a dumba** for having spent $200 for replacing the gasket, but I'm glad the car is finally fixed. 2000 maxima gle, 127k

I finally replaced my front rotors and pads. My old set-up (Brembo blanks with Raybestos Quiet Stops) were badly warped, causing very bad judder at high speeds and plenty of noise at low speeds.

I replaced them with PowerStop rotors and pads (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...678&cc=1359222). They are inexpensive (about $150 for all 4 wheels) and so far I am impressed with their quality: no measurable run-out out of the box! This compares very well with the old rotors, where after 60k miles the run-out was an order of magnitude higher than the maxim allowed.

We'll see how they behave over time ....

I'd call this about a 6/10 lol needs a wipe down due to dust on the dash. And I hate the floor mats.

Appreciate the love bud

Nice paint Maverick. Is that original? Looks like some time was spent refinishing to a glassy finish. Is that an Iconic Dynamic rear window spoiler. I have been debating getting one but I haven't decided if it is the right add on for me.

Drove it again for school/work today but I got used to the cushy ride of the Camry so the Maxima felt bumpy (KYB GR2 with H-tech springs).

Maverick4189 has such a clean car ><

On another note, something isn't right with the transmission. The 1-2 hard kick = MIA
