98 Maxima clutch will periodically not spring back

98 Maxima clutch will periodically not spring back
The fluid level in reservoir is fine with no leaks. The clutch will suck itself to floor requiring foot to pull it back???? I can still drive and shift with engagement being fine, mainly happens coming to a stop. Baffled, Thanks for looking.
