How to achieve a better 60' w/ 6spd?
How to achieve a better 60' w/ 6spd?
Please help me out... I'm stuck on a 2.3 60' yielding a 1/4 time of 14.4 consistently. The 1 time I pulled a 2.2 60' I pulled a 14.3.
What can I do to get a better 60'?
What make/model tires (besides slicks) do people like the most for the track? I have S-03 Pole Positions which are VERY soft and I don't think they match up with the rubber on the track very well, does that even make sense? I've run these times with every-day tire pressure, as well as dropping them down.
I know practice will help, but what should I practice?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

how are you launching? are you bringing the rev's up before the light turns or do you just go on the green? ive noticed its harder for me to bring the revs up and ride the clutch out because theres too much power for a FWD car lol
raise the tire pressure in the back and lower the front. also remove spare and jack if you didnt already. Maybe try launching at a higher rpm and drop the clutch about 60% then when you start to gain traction, floor it. maybe that will help some.
I usually rev to about 2500 and ease out. I've tried having the fronts down to as low as 22#'s, and the rear as high as 50#'s. I may just try to do a green light start (not reving).
Thanks for your input!

I wish I can get 2.2-2.3 60' as well.
Mods: RT Cat, Cattman cat-back, UR UDP, WAI, Bridgestone Poleposition S-03 tires, Maxspeed springs, sh1tty motor mounts, blown rear shock...

The temps have ranged between 65 ~ 78 degrees. I know that a 2.1 60' would be near perfection with this car, but that's what I'm shooting for
