1/4 Mile with Shaved Handles

I was curious if the track will allow you to run with shaved door handles. I have heard conflicting answers and was hoping to confirm one or the other.

Thanks.

im not sure, but some tracks probably wont, just make sure if you have shaved handles you dont go to an uptight track or go on a really busy and official day

I'm really glad this post wasn't what I thought it'd be when I read the title. I thought you were going to ask how much shaved door handles would save you in the 1/4 lol.

Anyways you might have problems at some of the bigger, more strict tracks, but the smaller mom and pop tracks that don't even make you pop your hood for tech wouldn't care I'm sure.

For your safety, if you are gonna run your car at the track, i highly suggest that you don't shave your door handles. Reason being, god forbid, but if you get into an accident down the strip, the paramedics and track crew need to get you out fast, and if you had shaved handles the crew are going to have a hard time to pop your door open. Yes some tracks may let you run, but most of the time they won't with shaved door handles.

Just call up the track you are planning on going to and ask them.

I think there are only a few tracks within driving distance of you. Pacific (Kent), Bremerton, Woodburn (Oregon) and PIR (Portland). I guess you could go to Yakima, Walla Walla or Spokane, but those are pretty far.

I am trying to remember on Import Day if I saw any shaved handles at Woodburn. I know I saw a kid with lambo doors on his RSX, but I don't remember any shaved handles.
