2000 auto se 9.64 in 1/8

tonight i went to the track... my best run was a 9.64 and that was my first run... all the rest of the runs were slower b/c of engine temp i guess, i tried opening the hood and leavign the motor off as much as i could...

I made it to semifinals in the bracket but i broke out by 0.13 ;_;

It was mugggy as hell today too, it rained around noon and it was just really hot and humid all night, the last time i ran my car was in febuary when it was cool and dry and i was running about the same times but then i only had a short ram w/ a broken vias, now i have the vias fixed, a y pipe and test pipe. How much does weather really effect your time?

Oops sorry, forgot i changed my sig. I have short ram intake, Y pipe, Test pipe, i fixed my VIAS, I did make those runs on the 18" rota subzero's w/ 245 kumho ecsta tires. I also still had the spare tire and probably 30 pounds of tools in the trunk, i didnt have anywhere to put them.

Anyone have an approximate est on how much the weather especially comparing hot and humid weather to cool and dry weather effects your 1/8 times??

Those times look funny. How is it that you are getting 2.4 60' and still getting 9.6 1/8 times @ 68 mph.

Yeah that makes no sense. I had 9.7 at 75 with a 2.3 60' months ago.

with a 2.2 footer i reached the 1/8th mark by 9.096 mph @ 90mph, how could you have reached the 1/8th mark just as fast as me but 20+ mph slower. with the trap you ran, i would put you at the 15+ second mark in the 1/4.

Sea level is ideal since altitude (1K + above sea level) rapes your times.
