My concerns are that I do not have a raised rev limiter and with the extra power from the mevi + nitrous I might hit the rev limiter and I do not want to spray into the limter cause it cuts the fuel and this would be bad. Now the question, is the mevi worth it and what kind of times can I look to gain, also can a msd rpm box control multi functions like the mevi and shut down the nitrous around 6200-6500rpm so the tranny can shift without the added stress.

A 8969 MSD can control two output wires. One (yellow) switches to ground when the set point is reached. The other wire (grey) is grounded until the RPM set point is reached. I use 6200/6300/6400 for the shift point ON setting, and I set the OFF RPM at 12,000 - this way I get the right response from the MSD. Fuel-cut is 6650 RPM. I bounce off fuel-cut fairly often when doing a water-box burnout.
I just today wired my Shift_Fast w/MSD to cut second-stage nitrous when the shift point is reached, Now I won't second-stage-spray when shifting. This seemed to work well last weekend.
The MSD 8969 can be used for all sorts of RPM-related things. I have another that controls the MEVI switchover point using an electric door-lock motor. The ECU Tach output feeds the MSD no prob.
The Shift_Fast controller I built shifts the automatic very quickly when the programmed RPM is reached - no reason to try and watch the tach.
Thank alot for the input guys it gives me some idea's for this winter and where I should go next.
I am pretty sure I'll break 13's my next time out at the track, and just looking to see what it will take for a mid 13 run with a 75shot
