NITTO NT 555s...............

Those are my new sneakers for my car! They are already in, but I haven't got my advance pay yet (we in the military can do that ) to buy them for the Cannonball Run to Alabama in a couple weeks, for vacation before the shipping of Lil' Nismo. I am thinking of getting a 86 300ZX ECU for the 'yard for a little more horses. Can it be done? Sarin said that you'll lose gas miliage for that ECU......

Tell me what 'yall think......

You may loose as much as 4mpg.....but that was on a 300zx, it may not be very noticable on our cars....but until it has been done. The fuel curve is a bit more agressive with the 300zx. Plus, I believe you can also get a upgrade chip for it possibly.

Just curious as to how much of a performance increase this
mod gives...

Do you really feel it "in the seat of your pants"?

Thanks!

Well, if you want really feel it in your pants type of performance, then your gonna either have to run boost, or N2O. Doing stuff like the ECU, or throttle body may give a little bit of a feel, but its really only adding a little bit of power. Remember though, every little bit helps.

Yeah I guess I'm too used to my 74 Nova...

74 Nova Custom, 383 Stroker motor, 452HP at the
flywheel, one of 4,667 made in 74 with a factory
Muncie 4-speed.

I know that comparing the Max to the Nova is really
no comparison... but with a V6, I was expecting a
little bit more... but like you said, every little
bit helps!

Thanks!
