help cold no starts!

what are some things besides the air regulator which would make the maxima almost impossible to start when cold. it only does it when the tempurature gets below freezing about 25 or below. to get it started i have to hit the key and pump the gas. If it manages to start i have to keep it above 3.5 grand to keep it running. if i let it drop below that it starts missing real bad and conkes out. if its above freezing it runes beautifully right from the start. i know its not the air regulator becasue i did the repair on it. it has a new fuel pump and brand new plugs. the last tank of gas i put in i added line antifreze. im beginning to think its either electronic or has something to do with the coil. any suggestions on things to try would greatly be apreciated.

Could have a vacuum leak somewhere that could cause that.....moisture in the ignition system? It's hard to tell.

I asked a question similar to this just a few days ago and
was told it was basically because of the cold temps...

it allmost acts as if it was getting too much gas at first. when i said about accellerating to 3.5 grand i have to do it slowly and hold it there. if i push the gas too quickly it acts like its flooding. the exaust smells like its running rich. if all of you are having the same problem i dont know what to think. it could possibly be cold nature of the vehicle but i know they sold them in canada and its just a little bit colder up there than it is down here.
