New 2 Board

Hey everyone. I just found this board and think its pretty cool, I never knew that there were people as passionate about these (now) old cars as I am about mine.

I'll start by telling you about my Max. 1985 GL model, 07-08/85 build. Optional Moonroof, Electronics Pkg, and Foglights. Replaced the foglights with blue lens foglights, and replaced the factory wheels with rounded 5-spokes. Have a K & N Air filter and no other mods besides window tint and stereo and speakers. Paint is the two tone Medium Pewter over Light Pewter with the accent stripe and my wheels match the Light Pewter.

I consider my car one of the best looking and best maintained '85's out there, and as of today it only has 79,000 miles on it, so I've still have lots of life left in my car.

Look forward to this board!

Nice to see another fellow Maxima enthusiast! You'll have to show us some pics soon, I thought Sarin's was one of the best looking ones around ( well, mine too, of course! ). Do you have any plans for future mods?

I agree, very nice indeed! I also second the motion for a little bit of drop.

Judging by the sidewalls, they look to be 15's to me.

Nice ride. My max is bone stock, but over the summer i wanna get to work on it. I wanna get some rims, and maybe do the trottle body swap. If you wanna help mod a max, lemme know.
I wanna get a paint job too. I was wondering what that shade of blue would look like on a max, and it's pretty phat. I was thinking Electric Blue from the '00 civic SI's. I might get a brighter silver instead of champagne. I dunno.

I need to do my T-belt and serp belts. I also need to do my suspension bushings and bumpstops before inspection in May. Lemme know if your interested.

Anyway, i don't have alotta DIY skills, but if you're ever doing something, lemme know so i can see how these look after they're unzipped. I'd be glad to drive over and lend an extra set of hands.

im thinkin about gettin some rims like that, almost exactly those for it and lowering it with a suspension techniques 1.5 drop and tintin the windows, but.... insuficient funds have postponed it... i also might get an SE bumper cover but yeah, check out my lovely car ya, feel free to ask about anything we dont flame people here that much...
