Engine is misfiring, please help me.

Hello guys,

Ok, I'll quickly cut to the chase. Friend and I parked the car at a well lit area and I brought along my new spark plugs which are the NGK G-Power spark plugs....muahhhahaha..anyway. I started to take off the wires and I changed the plug and the wire one by one. I used the wires that were on there, I didn't have new ones yet. When I get to my 4th spark plug, the wire tore....which then followed a string of obscenities. Fast forward, I have work today, so I called in, drove with my friend to pick up some Bosch spark plug wires, I get home take out all the old spark plug wiring and replace it with the Bosch and install my new NGK spark plugs.

I checked over everything and made certain that everything was placed in it's correct position. I turned on the engine.....It was shaking violently, rumbling, I put my foot on the pedal and let go, and I heard a shot come from cat, did the same thing again and another. IT was misfiring. I am very limited on funds, so I had no choice but to go with the bosch 24.99 wires, could those be the problem? I can't get the NGK wires yet.

The wires that were on there before were fine though. With the old NGK's. So, what can I do to diagnosis this? I desperately need advice, this is my only car and it's depressing when I've spent 2 days on it and it's misfiring.

It was running before I installed the new plugs just fine, I made sure they were not too tight.

Any ideas? What do I do now? I only have 3 hours before my parts store closes.
