Is it worth it?

I totalled my 3rd gen recently. I just found a second gen for $750 cash. The body on the car is solid. I saw no signs of accident damage. THe only rust was in the trunk, it appears the trunk seals around the lip have rotted out. The ac is a bit weak and it has a few electrical problems. It drives fairly well but I see a weekend spent doing a valve job in the near future. If I buy this thing I'll have about $1,200 left over for repairs or mods. I don't have a lot of experience with second gens. I had one for like two months so I figured i'd ask here.

See when the timing belt was done. On the VG they are suposed to be changed every 60k. $750 is not a bad price if its in decent condition.

If I buy the car I will. It will need a valve job soon and I may as well get these done as well. Thanks for the tip.
