hi all,

well well. how should i start. i have a 93 GXE.

i noticed that the ride on the passenger front was occassionally emitting a knock when i went over general bumps and potholes. the driver side has never had these issues.

since then i changed out the following parts in this order.

1. all new shocks
2. passenger side controller arm
3. passenger side ball joint
4. FTSB

the problem still occassionally pops up and it is ****ing me off as well as being a little bit embarrassing.

i notice also sometime the steering feels a hell of a lot stiffer (i like) than at other times (when the knock pops up).

any experiences/ideas will be appreciated. i do not want to think that the shock is busted already or the controller arm or ball joint.

thing is when i carry it to a shop the steering is stiff and it doesn't occur. so they say all is fine.

the shock bolts tight? wheel bearings?

 

shock bolts are tight...

got to check the wheel bearings where ever they may be...

any tips??
