i dont know what it is. i am thinking it is the strut but they are not really bounce. when i go over some bumps itmakes this kinda like( ticking, squekking, grinding) cant really describe it. it does it obly when i drive and go over some bumps or a rough road. i know it is not the cv joint. are my struts bad?? is it the axel?? or something else?? thanks. adam

 

Have a mechanic you know toss it up on the lift for free, see if they can if they can figure it out.

 

hey i have the same problem with my car. I just bought a 92 gxe and i hear clucking noise from my wheel everytime i go through a bump or rough road etc... I think it might be the strut.

 

mine was the comtrol arm bushing

 

Take it into a parking lot and drive in a tight circle left then right if its the axel you'll hear it in a tight turn or a turn during acceleration.
