Brougham?

I have recently decided to buy a 1989 Maxima, Brougham. This particular vehicle has a full digital dash and leather seats, and everything availble is all power (sunroof, keyless entry, etc)
I have been unable to find any information, let alone even a MENTION of this particular package ANYWHERE... I was curious if perhaps it was just a model made for canada? or.... am i just missing something?

Thanks

yeah, they didn't sell the "Brougham" package in the US, just Canada but you could get pretty much all those options on a US GXE model

yes, early US GXEs did have the digital dash option which also included the digital climate control and electronic suspension

and yes, I know of some Canadian maximas that have digital climate control (even in SEs)

Canadian maximas come standard with daytime running lights and the US do not
US maximas have automatic seatbelts and Canadian maximas have normal seatbelts

on the 3rd gen maximas, they basically came in two trims in the US: SE (sports edition), and GXE (base model, and the luxo-boat model).

The GXE came ONLY in automatic tranny, and you could get one with no options or one with everything- leather, ABS, sunroof, Bose, digital everything, etc etc...

the SE came in several forms of trim level, but the BOSE was standard in all the SEs. everything else was an option.

The Brougham model was basically the decked-out GXE that we have in the states.

when you get to the 4th gens, you have 3 model lines- the GXE (base), SE (sports), and GLE (luxo-boat).

The GXE could be bought in auto or stick. same with SE. GLE was auto only and had alllll the options.
they were add-ons on both GXE and SE.

the 1994 maxima brougham Is the most fully loaded .. My question is when it says 6 speaker premium bose system... HOW many connections will there be on the wiring harness? or when they say 6 speaker does this just mean there are tweaters or actualy 2 extra speakers on the rear door panels?
